Executive Class

Objective

To have adequate and maximum control during a crisis, specific skills are required. Decision-making takes place under high pressure; pace and decisiveness are necessary to limit the consequences. At the same time possible contradictory interests and conflicting signals with respect to external and internal factors need to be considered. Outstanding communication, facilities of information and media performance are of the utmost importance. The impact of one single ‘wrongly’ made decision can have far-reaching consequences.

’Crisis Management & Crisis Communication’ enables you to arrange for a functional and methodical crisis management in your own organisation and to occupy your specific space within the process. You will adopt the essential skills in the adaptive process coupled with handling crises. You will experience how an abundance of information is dealt with, recognise the phases of a crisis and to formulate the correct response. You will become aware of the significance of crisis communication, internally to personell as well as externally when handling the press.

Target Group

Participation is reserved for boards and (senior) management of the business community, institutions, (semi) governments, executives and staffmembers in positions where they are expected to be part of the management of crises; whom are expected to coordinate relations with internal or external parties, international relations, with governments and auxilliary services; whom are expected to protect the organisation’s interests and its reputation at a high level.
